My friends at Blackbird Letterpress turned this bit of artwork I made in 2021 (I think) into a beautiful letterpress print! The design first appeared in the Between fabric collection and has inspired several ideas since then. In the clouds it reads, may you be happy, may you be peaceful, may you be free. These words feel like a small heart calling and a quiet hope.
The scene is an imaginary place that feels calm and intentional to me, something peaceful and a little magical. The linework translates perfectly to letterpress.
Dwell Prints, CMYK Set of Four One of each color in a set. The name is a nod to the CMYK color family. These are not literal CMYK inks, but together they create a similar playful, punchy mix, which was the intention behind the choices.
