The Art Theory circle is one of the most recognizable Alison Glass motifs. We’ve turned the large version, released as part of the Art Theory collection in 2020, into a fun and functional euro pillow. The design would also make a lovely mini quilt. This pattern uses a combination of traditional and foundation paper piecing quilting methods. It includes corner block templates and detailed instructions with full color illustrations.
The kit includes enough fabric to make two euro pillows or mini quilts. Specifically, two Art Theory fabric circles (one of each style) + a spectrum of fabrics (similar in look to the photo, but an updated group of Alison Glass fabrics) and a PDF pattern, downloadable at purchase. Add fabric from your stash for the quilt or pillow backing fabric and binding.
Dense straight line quilting is a nice accent to this project. The sample uses FabuLux neon thread in Peach.
