One of the most fun things as a designer is the opportunity to work with other great designers. Sara Lawson, Sew Sweetness, coupled Chroma with a few of her great bag patterns and the results are so bright and fun.

Her Kismet Trinket Boxes pattern is fat-quarter-friendly and includes instructions for all 6 different sizes and shapes of trinket boxes. Sara’s pattern has minimal pieces to cut out and clear and easy sewing steps to follow. For beginning sewists (or sewists that like to work along with someone), she has created an online workshop as well. See the trailer below!

Sara used Chroma, the Tessellation Mini Pattern with her Aeroplane Bag Pattern to make a piece that stops people in their tracks. We were lucky enough to have this bag with us at Spring Market in St. Louis because EVERYBODY wanted to stop in the booth, take a picture, and then asked if they could take it home with them.

The Tessellation Mini pattern, like the original Tessellation Pattern, is a great way to master paper piecing as well as experiment with color and shape. This bag pattern is an easy finish and there are beautiful examples of it in all different fabrics on her website.
